SacACT Climate Justice LOC
The Climate Justice Committee evolved out of the Environmental Justice Committee in 2019. Our motto is to “make the invisible visible.” Climate change and air pollution takes the biggest toll on vulnerable people and our disadvantaged communities.
The Climate Justice Committee currently focuses on four areas:
Sacramento County’s County Action Plan
City of Sacramento’s electrification efforts,
State Legislative efforts addressing climate change and environmental justice
Local climate resiliency hubs.
We always welcome new members. No background is necessary.
