This year, our theme is "HOME IS SACRED," emphasizing our relentless efforts over the past 32 years to foster a more just and equitable community in Sacramento. We've dedicated a significant portion of our work in the last year to address critical issues such as housing, homelessness, and education.
Highlights of the Evening:
- Insightful discussions on local organizing committees' impactful efforts to get people housed, keep people housed, and cultivate a genuine sense of home in our neighborhoods and schools.
- Honoring Rabbi Mona and Congregation B’Nai Israel for their outstanding leadership during this year's migrant arrival crisis.
- Paying tribute to Shireen Miles, a dedicated Sacramento ACT Leader and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral member, for her unwavering commitment to supporting our new neighbors since their arrival in June.
