Since COVID-19,we have weathered many challenges, but continue to inspire and create transformative change in our community. Our recent achievements include a 24-hour Rapid Response Hotline that distributes COVID-19 information to immigrant communities, and securing $50 million dollars in mitigation funds for affordable housing and homelessness initiatives.Sac ACT works with partners and coalitions to help make our community safe and equitable for all.

With that said, I’d love to invite you to celebrate with us. We Hope to see you at our fundraiser and thank you in advance for your partnership.

From Lament to Hope: Organizing in the Time of COVID

Event: 2021 Sacramento ACT Annual Fundraiser and Live Auction Event

Date: March 18, 2021

Event time: 6:15PM

Venue: Virtual Event. No cost to attend. Registration is required to receive link to our event.

In 2021, Sacramento ACT will celebrate our 30th Anniversary. For the past 30 years, Sacramento ACT has brought faith and moral values to the public square to organize and build a just and equitable community for all. Sacramento ACT has accomplished many changes in our community in the last 30 years, however, our families still face many challenges. While we currently are in a time of deep pain and challenges, we believe that the people closest to the pain hold the solutions to their problems.

This year we will be hosting our fundraiser via live virtual event. We will be having a silent auction and a live auction the day of the event. We will also be having a few giveaways during our event. We expect a large audience attending virtually, representing a wide cross-section of our community: lay people and leaders from ACT, faith leaders, elected officials, grant makers and business representatives. With your support we can continue to be a catalyst for change.

Our fundraiser will include a celebration of Sac ACT’s first 30 years and we will also take time to recognize the tremendous contributions of Dr. Rev. Joy Johnson, who has served as Sac ACT’s Board President for the past seven years.

We look forward to celebrating with you in March during this milestone year and invite you to participate through sponsorship. To sign up or view our sponsorship packages please click the button below. For any questions, concerns or more information on sponsorships please email diana@sacact.org. Thank you for your consideration.

are also long term legal consequences that will change the
political and international landscapes. We are bringing
together legal scholars and practitioners, community
advocates and a civic engagement expert to discuss their
different perspectives. The speakers will allow the audience to
better understand immigration law and policy in the broader
